My dad (Philip Williams) shared your page with me. I wanted to send my condolences to you all, and reminisce about how much fun we had as teenagers growing up with all of you as part of our church family. Happy memories spread across many years sharing in parish and town events: worship, social fun times, Twinning Exchanges. Family friendship brought the privilege of Legal Guardianship for the young family. Richard's knowledge and skill in things electrical and of radios was readily offered to others. He was a calm person almost reserved out of respect for others,yet with interesting views and a touch of wry humour . A man of faith, persistence and courage he suffered much. He will be missed yet surely a welcome awaits among those in the presence of the God who is love and knows him as we would remember him.
